Charles Levine studied art history and sociology at Northwestern University and art history, linguistics, and critical theory (contemporary philosophy) at the University of Paris I. He attended the Habermas seminar at the International College of Philosophy in Paris from its inception in 1983 until 1988.
He worked as an art reviewer for contemporary art during his graduate studies and later shifted to communication, working as an independent trainer and consultant in communication and management in Paris and throughout France. He is a certified Master Practitioner of NLP, and specializes in systemic management of businesses and organizations with NLP Certifications from France and Santa Cruz, California. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the French NLP association, NLPNL, as well as a former editor of the association's journal.
His Jungian period, 1995-2005, began with analysis in France; he returned to the US in 1999 to work at the Jung Institute of Chicago in the public programs. He has been associated with Process Work, Arnold and Amy Mindell since the early 1990's.
Charles lives and works in Evanston, Illinois.
